I can’t believe it is September already! August was packed with busyness for Will’s schedule (boo, surgery rotation) and my schedule, as work got crazier with the start of school. The last few weeks of August seem like a blur and I’m both afraid and hopeful that September is the same. I am so excited for fall, cooler weather and all things pumpkin, and we are so close! I don’t have too many goals for September, but I want to tackle some that have been on the list for months, so I’m keeping it simple. Below are the August goal updates and my September goals!
Update on August Goals
-Hang curtains in living room and guest bedroom – nope, still haven’t done this
-Pick paint color for bedroom – yes! Benjamin Moore White Dove!
-Go on family trip celebrating another year brain tumor-free for Pops! – Yes :) see NYC part I, II, III
-Continue to find ways to exercise when it is 100 degrees outside – mostly just endure the heat
-Go on a date – this makes the goals list because surgery rotations=not much time outside of the hospital for Will. :/ – we got dinner out one night? But surgery is done now, so hopefully we’ll have more time in September!
-Sew/make at least two pillow cases for bed in second bedroom – cut a few of them, but still no sewing yet.
-Learn a new way to braid my hair – eh, nope
-Enjoy the last of summer together before my work schedule gets busy again – yes, and it is busy again!
-Set up the second bedroom with the furniture we have – making the September list
-Keep working on Summer bucket list! :) (still doing well!)
September Goals
-Hang curtains in living room (removing guest bedroom until we get it set up)
-Sew at least two throw pillow covers for the bed in the second bedroom
-Set up the second bedroom with the furniture we have
-Paint our bedroom
-Make a new dinner recipe
-Go apple picking (or some kind of pick-it-yourself picking)
-Last month to work on the summer bucket list! So excited to have a fall list! :)
