Welcome to the world, little blog!

I’m so excited to launch this new space where I can share new happenings and adventures with friends and family across the state, the country and even the world, as I explore my way through this new stage of life.

Starting a blog has been something I wanted to do, but always seemed too daunting to actually carry out.  The idea notched itself in my brain in college and grew its first roots when I wrote about my travels during a semester abroad.  After I came home and got back into busy college student mode I left the blog aside.  I twiddled around with a blog to use as a portfolio toward the end of my senior year, but never actually needed it for that purpose.  Earlier this summer, the idea again sprouted in my thoughts, but I brushed it away thinking no one would want to read my shenanigans.  But why should that stop me?  It shouldn’t.

I love baking, but I’m not a food blogger.  I admire great clothes, but am not a fashion blogger. I want to travel the world, but am not a travel blogger.  I don’t have cute kids or live in a big, exciting city.  While I am not at the moment limiting my blog to any one of these, I do plan to share new baking ventures, travels and explorations, newlywed and med school living, musings and things I love.  You can learn more about me here.

I hope this little piece of the web can be a place for fun and memories, with you invisible internet friends as my sidekicks.  Come along, it’s going to be a party.
